Leo and me at the Frozen 2 premiere in Vox cinema at Mall of the Emirates
Kids have a disproportionate love for lip balm. It’s not all that different to their adoration for Frozen to be honest. Combine the two and you’re onto a winner.
Labello – surely the ultimate name in kissable moisturisation – invited Leo and me to the premiere of Disney’s Frozen 2 on the giant IMAX screen at Vox Cinemas in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates no less (all other screens are now dead to me), to celebrate the launch of its Elsa and Anna lip balm sticks.
Leo mainly loved the lip balm and Olaf. I mainly loved the fact that at lunch earlier that day execs from an international luxury fashion brand eschewed discussing footfall issues in UAE retail destinations to quiz me very seriously on Elsa’s ambiguous sexuality (excellent background reading on that here). Sadly, Elsa doesn’t get any romantic action in the movie, much to the disappointment of the internet. Maybe Labello simply hasn’t made its way to Arendelle yet? For the rest of us, pass the lip balm and pucker up. Mwah!
